Agreed that very little of the day to day people I meet even care about the shutdown. Most want the wall built. The battle is between Trump's base and the Left's base. A lot of people in the middle don't care about the wall or the shutdown. If they did care -- this would be over and done with one way or the other. Most of Congress just want it to go away.
