I remember a picture that I saw of a rose bush that had canes as big around as my thumb and thorns that were about an inch long.

My husband and I thought about getting several of them to plant in front of our windows.

Pyracantha is good also——I had them around my home.

Sharp thorns sure would do the trick to help prevent home burglary!
Just remember to wash and paint the windows before planting. :-)
