The concertina wire is both helpful and troublesome. I dont know if it is helping to deter crossing or not but I assume that it helps. One problem is that they keep cutting it in high traffic areas and then it has to be repaired. The bigger problem is injuries, we have had a lot of people cutting their hands on the wire. That means that they have to go to the hospital and it takes two border agents for everyone person in the hospital. So every time it happens it takes two agents out of the field and some nights it happens multiple times.

I’ve seen pictures of wall sections where the razor wire is at the bottom of the wall on our side of the border.
That is stupid
It should be on the TOP only and made of material that cannot be cut without a torch.
That way if someone cuts their hands etc they will fall into Mexico and not the USA
