I, too, tweeted my desire for President Trump to veto this bill, but I would not have abandoned my support for him, in any case. There are things going on behind the scenes, of which we know nothing. I have to trust he is moving on our behalf. Will be be victorious against the behemoth swamp? Only with God’s help. For those who want to drop him cold, I have to wonder...who would you think would take his place? Sure, Pence, but if he tried to fight for Trumps agenda, they’d dump him, too. I don’t know about you, but the the words, “President Pelosi” , are un-utterable
Just because I said the president could not back down on his promise to support the wall and border security, why do you think I would abandon him and want president Pelosi? I just listened to my local conservative talk show host thank Rush Limbaugh and the Republican base for letting it be known that they would not accept a back down. Certainly my talk show host said this would not be happening today without our letting the White House know our strong reaction.
