I think Trump is mostly tough and stands up for us and our principals more than any other Republican would have.
Still he can waver sometimes, if it’s not actually some strategy, and on such an important issue with so much at stake an outcry like this from us has to get his attention.
We conservatives have a strong belief in our principals because they’ve been shown to work, and if you will lead us with them we’ll have your back. If not...we’ll have another area of your back.
