Practically no one will turn them in.
Fortunately I don’t have any bump stocks.
Just some souvenir paperweights which happen to be the exact shape and weight of a bump stock.
And practically no one ever owned one and I bet 99% of gun owners never even heard of them until about a year ago anyway.
Overall, non-news, no big deal. Any argument about automatic weapons should focus on the laws that ban them, not tricks people try to circumvent those laws.
Practically no one will turn them in.
Because nobody has them......
It was a device that no one I know ever used or heard of until Vegas. I never heard of it pre Vegas.
Not the hill to die on
[[Practically no one will turn them in.]]
The idea isn’t to turn them in, the idea is to turn anyone caught with one into an instant felon who can never own a gun again
BUT if any of you freepers out there do not want to turn yours directly in at the magistrate, freepmail me for my address and I will take yours off your hands.
Silly crap. The US can ban a stock but cannot secure our border.
Tragically, I lost mine in a boating accident.
On a more serious note, this is a clear violation of due process and UN-CONSTITUTIONAL. Unfortunately it will take years to get through the courts before getting overturned.
