No wonder she conceded so easily. She will not be tough to beat in 2020. Ducey ran and won his reelection in November. If he had made his choice public, he would not have even won his Primary.

It’s odd the timing of the elections. So she will have to run for re-election in 2020 and again in 2022.
If she survives, then the 2022 election would be for a full six year term.

She will become the senior senator...

I dont like this, but there may be a silver lining. Maybe he is going to run against Sinema in 6 years. Or maybe she will last the primary to him

Great idea, appoint a loser who couldnt win a seat in a mostly red state.

Arizona governor taps Martha McSally to fill Senate seat once held by McCain I guess he could've made a worse choice, still, given the recent state political history of McLame, Flake, Kristen Enema, you have to wonder if sunstroke or lunacy affect the entire population of the state.

Good! She’s as conservative as we will ever expect to see from Arizona and more Republicans voted for her to become Senator than any other Republican. Twice.
As for how she lost to Enema, ask the Democrats. Same ones who voted for McTurd.

So the voters send a clear message: we don’t want her and they put her in a month later. Democracy alive and well in Arizona
