Dinesh D'Souza described Michelle Obama's college thesis as "illiterate and incoherent." The far-right author and filmmaker launched a scathing attack on the former first lady after she claimed that people at the most powerful organizations in the world were "not as smart" as some portrayed them to be.
"Anyone who has read Michelle's college thesis - a document so illiterate and incoherent that it was written, as Christopher Hitchens put it, in 'no known language' - will chuckle heartily at this one," D'Souza wrote on his Facebook page, sharing a link to a Newsweek article that reported Obama’s remark.

Obama attended Princeton University, where she majored in sociology and minored in African-American studies, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985.
Three years later, she earned a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, becoming the third first lady with a postgraduate degree after Hillary Clinton and Laura Bush, her two immediate predecessors at the White House.
Obama isn't the first Democrat woman to be criticized by D’Souza, who last month described congresswoman-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as the "stupidest person elected to public office."

At my university, the trick was to pick the instructor. Tenure permitted some to go slack and pass out easy marks to their classes.
The article forgot to mention that the person commenting (Christopher Hitchens) was a card carrying liberal. However, Hitch was as honest as the day was long. He told it like he saw it and I always appreciated his viewpoint and dry wit. I miss Hitch. It would have been great to hear what he would have said about Trump. I’m sure he would rip into him, but I think he would appreciate him and the fact that he is an outsider shaking up things in Washington.
I was going to say, in a stupid race between Occasional-Cortex and Queen Sheila Jackson-Lee, I’m not sure Occasional-Cortex wins.
That can’t be true — she made $370,000 a year on her first job out of school.
Ignoring the "illiterate and incoherent" thesis by their goddess, Newsweek gets to the point of the article, D'Souza's "misogyny."

Lord, I didn’t know she had such a lame and obviously left-leaning degree.
And it wasn’t AA Studies in the ‘80s. It would’ve been BLACK. The way it should be.

Note that Newsweak didn’t attempt to defend Michelle’s thesis, nor did they supply any links to it. I suspect that any unbiased reader of it would defend D’Souza’s interpretation of the thesis.
Whatever else this woman is or isn’t, she is no scholar of any particular merit, and she is most definitely a really, really bad writer.

It didn’t have to be coherent. There is one set of rules for most people, and another set for specially-privileged members of government-certified protected groups.
She could have written the words “I am a victim of racism” 1000 times, and gotten an A for her “brilliant insight into institutional racism” or some other such horse$hit.
Of course. Why else do you think it was squashed? The college record of any sitting first lady would be a thing of pride… but THIS one was hush hush
