It looked like a nail-biting scene out of a Hollywood movie when monster waves tossed two U.S. Coast Guard boats at San Francisco's Ocean Beach last week.

Navy SEALS train in that surf near there. Read some of the SEALS' first hand experience books. The training they go through is amazing. My fav is
Howard Wasdin's.
