I suggested this exact solution eighteen months ago, when Mueller was first appointed.

Trump has the authority to declassify and publicly release every document in the Department of Justice, FBI, and the Intelligence agencies.

He could have released every document related to every recent scandal in the federal government.

He could have issued a blanket preemptive pardon to every person mentioned in those documents.

Why? If there are no trials, there is no obstruction of justice.

Instead, Trump has never personally intervened to release any document, and he has passively allowed senior government executives to ignore almost every subpoena.

The consequence of Trump’s indolence has been a political catastrophe....

Forty percent of the people who voted in the November midterm think Trump should be impeached.

"Forty percent of the people who voted in the November midterm think Trump should be impeached." --- Do you believe that percentage? If so are you worried about it? You should be.

No real need to blame the President.

Just blame the DEEP IGNORANCE of the general public created by the LEFTY propaganda factories -- public schools and universities.

And above all, that deep, destructive ignorance of the voting public and general public is NEARLY TOTALLY caused by the CORRUPT, disgusting, vile, loathsome, hateful, monstrous, AMERICA-HATING MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

Most people who voted for Hillary think Trump should be impeached... that's because they listen to CNN/NPR/Etc. I bet 50% of the electorate thinks Hillary should be in prison.

I would have loved for Trump to do a scorched Earth thing as soon as he took office, but he seems to be taking a longer view of the situation. It seems like a long time since he took office, but its not even been 2 years yet.

I think his approach is:

1. Stay alive (I wouldn't trust the FBI one bit)
2. Retain the presidency as long as possible (requires political stuff)
3. Let the opponent play their hand, then play his. We're almost at this point.

Combating the USA government (including the DOJ, FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS, EPA, etc.) isn't an easy task. It doesn't help when most of Congress and half of the judiciary is corrupt too. Truth of the matter is that they're all pretty darned corrupt... and they don't opt to go down without a fight.

Lets all stay in the game... its just starting to get interesting.
