Of course not. Even if I ended up blind, I would still want to live. What I did (and still do) is kick myself for ever getting the surgery to begin with. Was promised one thing and it was made to sound almost risk free. It was partially my fault because I trusted the Doctor and did not ask enough questions.

I honestly thought about suing the guy later, but could not find a lawyer willing to take the case.

Also, it was PRK, not LASIK. Different procedures. The Doctor who did the 2nd surgery (which partially cured me) told me that LASIK would have been a better initial choice for me.
