There will be a new attorney general and there is currently an interim attorney general. Either gentleman could decide to forgo a second federal trial.

So you think he hated Heather Hyer because of her ethnicity, her ancestry, her religion, her race, her sexual orientation, her disability, her gender, and her gender identity, or because he thought she was a juvenile?

What category of "hate" are they going with here?

Also, how did he know it was going to be her that he killed with his car, rather than some other random stranger of whom he knew nothing?

What was his "hate" motivation directed at the victim?

I'm sure they could, but if they don't needlessly spend the taxpayer's money to virtue signal how non-racist they are, who will?

A sane person would set aside any Federal prosecution unless it appears that the state is not going to render justice in this case. As it appears the state is going to go so far beyond "justice" as to enter the territory of injustice, it would be reasonable for the Feds to just spend the taxpayer money on a more deserving case.

So of course they won't. They will grab this one and attempt to milk it.

I saw her laying on thee street after it happened, and the back-shots of her before it happened.

The image you posted was not even close.

I think I’ll wait and see what actually happens. The defendant doesn’t get sentenced until March and then there’s the possibility of an appeal of the state conviction.

I had nothing to do with the federal charges against James Fields. My point was simply that criminal bias motivations can be other than racial. After race the second largest category of hate crimes is crimes with a religious bias motivation and in that category hate crimes against Jewish persons or property lead the way.

If you’re interested here’s a link to the hate crimes indictment of James Alex Fields, Jr. and the bias motivations that they are alleging.

One thing is certain the murderer will certainly die behind bars and I couldn’t be more happy
