Donald Trump's negotiating session with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer spiraled wildly out of control on Tuesday, with the politicians viciously tearing into the president in plain view of reporters.
Pelosi informed him that his border wall wouldn't pass in the House of Representatives, where Republicans hold a majority of seats, if it came for a vote.

At least, ever since the last time Trump pulled this exact same move against these exact same Democrats.

Republicans always act like they’re at a country club or attending some type of genteel social event where they are afraid of saying anything that might offend their “friends”. Instead they should be fighting for us on the political battlefield. Alas, they are a hopeless and useless lot.
Trump and Reagan tried to show the Republicans how to win but they are resistant to the concept.

My thoughts: It is unclear what the country really wants with regards to the Wall. If they really thought it was necessary, why did they hand back Congressional power to the Democrats?
Trump is in a position to cram this down their throats if they resist.
Here’s hoping they resist.

I sat there in 2011 in a Pentagon agency...wasting a dozen hours planning our short-man operations plan. They were entirely serious that we’d be on the no-work situation unless deemed ‘essential’. In the end...about half of the civilians were on non-essential list and were preparing for trips to visit relatives or vacations. They all knew they’d be paid for the off-days. I had a ten-day trip planned and they screwed that up by making me essential.
