These researchers are really scraping the barrel. Well, I guess they have kids too, with braces and college needs.
About 10 years ago or so all of my engineer workmates kids were taking trips to the Galapagos Islands and getting ready to enter university to study “Marine Biology”.
I guess they all have their Phd’s now and are into the “publish or perish” mindset...:^)

changing the temperature of the water where the eggs were originally laid... Could have boiled (soft or hard) the eggs. Would have saved time and money on the research..
