if instrux from Trump are on tape, maybe there is a problem. if it is just Cohen’s testimony, a known liar, probably not. i wouldn’t depend on the Edwards situation as precedent - if a certain court/judge is shopped for, who knows? i don’t think it amounts to much - but it kicks up dust. and that is what the Dems want - a duststorm every single day indicating chaos and wrongdoing, whether real or not.
The tapes are out there. Or at least parts of them. Nothing about the election was said as the reason for the pay off.
