Rep. Nancy Pelosi is digging in amid the fight over funding for President Trump's long-promised border wall, signaling she won’t accept a deal on DACA in exchange for wall money.
Congress on Thursday approved a short-term spending bill to avoid a partial government shutdown, punting the immigration debate and other issues until later in the month.
Speaking to reporters at her weekly press briefing Thursday, Pelosi (D-Calif.), the likely next House Speaker, said that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and the proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border are “two different subjects.”
She later said that she and most Democrats consider the wall "immoral, ineffective and expensive," adding that Trump repeatedly promised that Mexico would pay for it.

Good. DACA would be immoral, ineffective, and expensive. We should not trade something so evil for Congress agreeing to follow the Constitution.
Nonw of which is true, in view of the overall cost savings, She needs to move to Europe and wallow in it.

If the GOP had a spine (and they do not), they would fully fund the wall before January. Make the Democrats try to defund it, just like they make us try to defund Obamacare.
But we have too many spineless Republicans.
The problem is they need 9 d votes in the US Senate.
And that cloture vote needs a viable shut-down threat.
Get a good lawyer Nancy you are going to need it.
And murdering children in the womb is “moral”?
Nancy and her ilk would murder children in their car seats.
I am so tired of the politicizing about the defense of our nation. We need to start a “go find Us border wall” and forget trying to have the federal gov’t fund it...
I think the wall/DACA comprise will be popular with most voters and dems lose seats over obstructing.
She was referring to her face lift and botox injections.
It looks like it’s the only way we’re going to get one. The power of the people will get it done.
A citizenry who is so brainwashed, dumbed-down, drugged up, and dis-interested in individual liberty is not the vigilant citizenry required to restore our Republic. We couldn’t even protect our POTUS from this soon-to-be Commiecrat-controlled House, let alone increase our margins.
With each passing day, I am more convinced that if U.S. citizens want their country back, it ain’t gonna happen working within the system.
But the wall around Nancy’s castle is a-ok! Hypocrite....
“Immoral, Ineffective, and Expensive” pretty much describes the democrat party.
