Magic mushrooms may soon be legal in Oregon

It's absolutely ludicrous to criminalize the possession of one of God's own creations—in this case a certain type of mushroom.

Any government that can outlaw nature wields—for all intents and purposes—arbitrary power over its denizens.

Legislative and/or bureaucratic excesses—whether democratically supported or not—don't trump Natural Rights...

Not to be a devil's advocate, but what is to be said about the "legislative and bureaucratic" limits put on the good old NATURAL poppies which are turned into what some call dangerous drugs? Are those actions "excessive" presently?
