I’ve had my day of experimenting and dabbling during my misspent youth, and will say that all these psychoactive substances being legalized is going to bring the crazy out of the woodwork, as if Portland isn’t already nutty enough. Some people just cannot handle it, and those who have preexisting psychological issues, latent psychosis, etcetera, should not even be partaking in marijuana, let alone psilocybin mushrooms. The barely repressed crazy is going to really cut loose when they do, and they may not ever get it bottled up again.

On the lighter side ...... when I was younger back in the early 70's, I had a good friend who dabbled in selling a pound or two of marijuana at times. He was an old high school swimming buddy (he had nearly qualified for the '68 Olympics // 100 yard butterfly. He wasn't real bright, but he was street smart as hell.

Anyhow he liked to get high .... a lot. My wife told me this story about him this morning when I told her about this thread. She mentioned a party we were at with him. At one point he told her, "I was at this place and I was so stoned I didn't even know that I was stoned."
