We know his counterpart (unfortunately my Senator) is downright evil and unhinged, so he might have pushed Burr into it somehow. I agree the GOP has been AWOL in most of this affair other than the House committee (which was nonetheless ineffective) and an occasional good statement from Grassley. They are very disappointing so far.
I see Burr is not running again. It seems he’s pulling a Corker/Flake Deep State dead-ender kamakaze mission. That would his Democrat like behavior as “chairman” of the Senate intel committee.
