My son recently went to a play with his grandmother. They were in an elevator and a woman asked my kid (he’s 12) if he was excited to see Joe Biden. JB was apparently making an appearance somewhere near the same venue as the play, of which I was unaware. My son wasn’t really sure how to respond, so his grandmother jumped in and just said they were on their way to see Singin’ in the Rain.
I told my son that if it had been me, I would have responded, in a suitably excited manner, “I didn’t know Slow Joe was in town!” He thought that was funny enough. My kid is only twelve, but he is politically aware, and calls out liberal BS when he sees it at schrool.
This lady may not have been a liberal, but it kind of irritates me that liberals assume everyone around them thinks like they do, and would be excited because this idiot is making an appearance.
