I grew up in a neighboring town and yes, I remember that line well!

Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin
You never come out the way you went in!

Used to deliver the Lynn Item newspaper. Back then it served multiple towns in Boston's North Shore.

I visited my grandmother in Lynn frequently growing up.

Lynn's where I learned to fish in Goldfish pond.

It was a happy day when I got to visit Lynn beach or family in Swampscott.

Always been a very working-class town.
