I have this vague impression that the previous French Revolution worked out rather poorly for both the Elites and the Revolutionaries.

Who are often the first to be killed in a revolution? The revolutionaries and why? Because they are traitors and cannot be trusted. The American Revolution is a rare example where peace came after a change of government.

I have this vague impression that the previous French Revolution worked out rather poorly for both the Elites and the Revolutionaries. France did end up witn a Corsican leader who took over most of Europe. And now with Global Warming™ a Russian campaign should be pretty easy this time.
