I am not sure that I totally agree with your statement that these public officials are defying federal law. States are not “sub-units” of the federal government per the Constitution. This doesn’t seem to be the case when all sorts of liberal/leftist garbage is imposed on the states.
Where I have the problem is that these states turn around and claim the right to federal money which are relevant to the law enforcement programs they reject. What I would like to see is individuals in non-sanctuary states sue sanctuary cities and states for damages caused when one of their illegals travels / moves to the non-sanctuary state and commits crime, property loss etc. I would also like to see the so-called red states start using the sanctuary concept to avoid all leftist federal garbage imposed on them.
This is true. When the heck will he name? I’d love to see the revenge in naming NJ’s Christie as AG, just for this crime alone. . .
