Violence against Border Patrol agents continued to spiral with authorities reporting one agent held at gunpoint by an illegal immigrant in California, and two agents in Arizona facing attacks by hand.
California agents responded to two illegal immigrants detected crossing the border on foot. The first man was apprehended without problem, but the second, Hector Rodriguez-Chavez, aimed a loaded Star Echeverria pistol at the agent.
The agent and Rodriguez struggled for the gun, and even the help of two other agents was not enough to pry the weapon from Rodriguez's hand.
Finally, one agent used his taser, who dropped the pistol and stopped resisting.
Agents later found that he'd been deported back to Mexico at least five times, dating back more than 20 years [most recently in October 2017.] He also had convictions in the U.S. for violent drug crimes and firearms offenses.
"Our agents' vigilance prevented this dangerous person from illegally re-entering our communities," said Rodney S. Scott, chief agent for the Border Patrol.
The Arizona assaults happened Tuesday.
In one, agents were trying to arrest four illegal immigrants when 25-year-old Guatemalan man, threw dirt in an agent's face then swung his belt to use buckle as a weapon.
He was subdued and put into a vehicle, where he then spit in another agent's face.
Hours later another Guatemalan man was caught sneaking back in by an agent and his canine.
The 36-year-old man started striking the agent, but was eventually subdued. Authorities discovered he'd been deported just six months ago.
One agent was taken to the hospital for injury evaluation.
The assaults came after Sunday's violence at the border when Agents fired tear gas repelling the incursion-that's immigrant-rights advocates condemned saying those involved in the assault should have been welcomed and allowed to apply for asylum.

That’s a terribly tough way to frame the argument. A flash grenade and then ma-duece gets the women and kids down and maw does the rest. Got ten says once is enough. Putting women and kids in front should open season on the users. IMO
Pull a gun and they use a taser? Try any of that with a police officer and you’d get shot dead. The media is already against enforcing the border. The bleeding hearts have already bought all the BS. Stop worrying about “optics” and take the violent ones down.
This a sentence from the aricle;

They make it sound like the officer used his taser, then dropped his weapon and stopped resisting.
Don’t they proof read?
The guy who pulled a gun on the Border Patrol Agents should have been shot, not just tazed. If I had pulled a gun on my local or state police, I would have been shot, and rightly so (depending on circumstances), and would have been lucky to have survived.

Wait. Mexico has incredibly tough gun laws. You mean gun control laws don’t work, even in Mexico? I guess they need more gun control laws.

yep, now that troops are on the border surround san diego and remove all illegals, then look at the country and say if you leave now no penalty, if you come back illegally, tent city building the wall, if we have to remove you tent city hard labor for 2 years then deported..

If they are caught after having been deported, merely slit their throats and ship them home with a “Return to Sender” tag on their right big toe.
