They stormed across the river to get to the Border Pedestrian Bridge.
NBC 5 is now live: https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/local/march-in-support-of-migrant-caravan-san-ysidro-501202511.html
Blow up all bridges
It’s obvious that unless and until the hammer comes down the invasion will continue.
Kirsten Neilson of DHS is simply trying to hold out until December 6 before she gets the boot so she can collect her pension money before moving on, so she couldn’t care less.
The courts are either no help or working against Americans.
What are the border state Governors doing? They have authority when Washington won’t step in, right?
Maybe President Trump should allow the formation of some militias to take care of business.
But something a little more meaningful needs to be done and soon.
The United States...shall protect each [state] against invasion
U.S. Const. art. IV, sec. 4.
It's the federal government's constitutional job to STOP INVASION!!!!
This crossing should be closed for the rest of the month. If there is more trouble, close it for the rest of the year.
Thanks. I was watching it live via FB , but the feed was breaking every 5 seconds.
This is where a nuke would be useful..but hey according to the commie media this is NOT an invasion, Oh really? Looks like a damn invasion to me
The throng congregate to the west end of the concrete canyon, realize there ain't no entrada, or for that matter, no salida, then start filtering back across the concrete canyon to Mexico after just 10 minutes.
They marched all day, and at the end of the day, they only held the ground under their rotten onion-picking feet.
Someone should make them a pendejo national anthem!
"Oh Jose did you see?
Someone mojado running past me.
To the ramparts we splotched,
and then crawled back to Mexicali...
We need to buy the “poop gun” that the Israelis have. Big transducers that emit a massive low frequency noise that reportedly makes people in crowds “involuntarily evacuate their bowels”. sounds perfect!
From what I understand, the border was closed @ 11:30am, so it was a pretty close call. We had heard something was up, so we left a bit earlier than usual to get across before noon.
There was a huge BP presence everywhere, along with fresh & shiny new concertina strung everywhere. The MX fed police were out in force as well on their side.
Closing the border is going to drive the Mexicans insane. So much business is dependent on free flow of US tourists going down, and MX nationals shopping in San Diego.
In fact, we were right next to one of the pedestrian crossings, and it was already backing up. And these were regular Mexican citizens just wanting to cross for the day, so you can imagine how pissed off they are.
As sketchy as the border is, both the US & MX have this weird symbiotic relationship were goods/people actually move back/forth pretty well.
You can image the anger now being directed at the MX gov't for not getting this sh!t under control. It's royally screwing TJ and baja, because now you have all this traffic backed up all over the city as people are freaking out where to stay & hang.
All in all a complete cluster, one which Trump has played masterfully. Just watch the denials of any asylum housing deal in MX be officially acknowledged shortly.
Wanna bet they walk down 5 miles and try crossing there?
_______________
What? ...... no tv, air conditioning, and delivered gourmet food?
This is a friggin’ invasion by enemies of America. Kill them. They do not belong in this country.
Camp of the Saints...
Apparently we have opened the borders and are discussing with Mexico how to handle asylum requests which are not valid.
It is ridiculous that we even have to take all these asylum requests.
This is what is SUPPOSED to happen when a US President draws a red line.
>
“they want to be admitted into the US to seek asylum and are being stopped by riot police”

They were OFFERED asylum...by Mexico. They refused. One does not get to determine when/where to seek/accept.
