Germany, a country of 82 million, welcomed from 800,000 to over one million migrants and unvetted “refugees” in 2015.
Mrs Merkel, who last month announced she was controversially stepping down as leader of her party but not as Chancellor of Germany despite previously saying the two roles go hand in glove, said ceding power to a superstate is a better form of patriotism.
She told the event, titled ‘Parliamentarianism Between Globalisation and National Sovereignty’: “In this day nation states must today – should today, I say – be ready to give up sovereignty.
“But of course in an orderly procedure.”
Mrs Merkel said that countries who think “they can solve everything on their own” are simply nationalistic and not patriotic because they “only think about themselves.”
She said: “Either you are one of those who believe they can solve everything on their own and only have to think about themselves. That is nationalism in its purest form.
“This is not patriotism. Because patriotism is if you include others in the German interest and accept win-win situations.”

Good point. Who all still realizes there were Christians too in those German concentration camps?
My husband and I were in Munich at the end of September. Munich has been completely overrun by swarms of African and Middle Eastern refugees. The city is well on its way to being a dirty, trashy sh*thole city.
I was in Copenhagen airport last Christmas. It’s also a main international airport for “multi cultural” Malmo, Sweden. The gate departure area was like the bar scene from Star Wars with Third Worlders in their tribal dress heading back to the old country for a vacation. Europe is done. Even the Eastern Europeans have lost their will, IMO. Once Hungary and Poland fall, it is over. RIP Europe.

This only applies to Nation-States that are (historically) predominantly White. Of course, Nation-States made up of People-Of-Color would never be asked to do such a thing.
Merkel would have European countries give up their sovereignty, which Hitler basically did by invading, and taking them over. Therefore, he would be very proud of her. You claim Hitler stood up for Germany. He really didn’t. He stood up for his dream of ruling the world, and destroying all Jews. With Merkel welcoming untold numbers of muzzies into Germany, and other nations, she’s basically welcoming the destruction of not only the Jewish population and culture, but the culture and people of other nations. Hitler’s insanity destroyed Germany in the end, and then he wouldn’t even accept responsibility for it before he did himself in. Merkel’s insanity will bring nothing but trouble for Germany, and the nations who fall for her ridiculous message.
over in europe the general history of authority is that its appointed by God, and the ruling authority determines rights and whats lawful.
in america ruling authority was appointed by men, and the ruling authority was kept in check by the acknowledgement rights come from God, not man, and that no person was above the law.

I read a couple of articles here at FR re: a couple of recent surveys of the German people. I was shocked by a couple of stats:
75% of German citizens said “they did not recognize their country anymore.”
The second stat was even sadder: 38% of Germans said they “would just like to leave” their country. In other words, they’re so discouraged, they don’t even want to try and fight to keep their country.
