He tells ‘em to become Christians.
That is not literally claimed therein.
The word “Christian” didn’t appear until much later, in Antioch; those who followed Jesus were called Nazarenes at first. Not to mention, as the Messiah, he presents himself as a central character of the Scriptures.
And --- back to a previous topic --- then you overcome death.
You seem to think death itself is the Enemy. And you know what? You're right.
"For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. "

That's why they call it Good News.
