Yep. Saudi knows Trump is a realist and in a lot of ways, the new “leader’ is more of a realist than any predecessors...just getting tired of being slapped for doing their business while the accusers cater to all the pother dictators/tyrants of the world who do wholesale killings vs. some surgery.
The main risk is that the Saudis bail and join the Three Amigos -- I highly doubt that will happen, but that particular triumvirate isn't durable anyway. The House of Saud would bring a very great deal of stuff to the table, so adding fourth chair wouldn't look unattractive. Our best shot will be the way the new DNC-run House goes during the next two years. Whatever problems Pubbies have staying on task and of one mind, this incoming group is split into Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest, and there seem to be additional subgroups.
