Sorry, i'm not from Mississippi. I'm just upset about what the Rino establishment did to McDaniel in the previous election.

At a guess, I would say he didn't appoint McDaniel because the Mitch McConnell smear coalition has so badly damaged McDaniel that the national media would have destroyed him if he had to run for office.

The Barbour/McConnell coalition smeared him as a racist, and it's virtually impossible to get back your reputation after that.
