This sounds like a way to stop them: “impose martial law in a buffer zone encompassing the border”

With martial law, there is no const. right to due process and they can be returned to sender.

But it’s not the judiciary’s role “ to come up with an actual working decision that keeps the country safe .”

No it is not their role, but in the past 2 years and multiple district courts making national impacting decisions and no one to tell them they can't. It seems that both the executive and legislative branch have somehow been forced to bow down to the black robes of liberal judgedom.
