If he really told the cops he did hit her but “she hit me first” then he is done and might as well just cop a plea right now. She was at his condo so they either really did have some sort of relationship, he picked her up at a bar or off the street Richard-Gere-style (this is LA and he fancies himself a casanova after all), so it’s going to be impossible for him to argue there wasn’t at least something sexual going on between them just by virtue of her presence there where the call to the cops originated from. The fact that he’s trying to set up a defense that it was a setup smacks of desperation. If he really didn’t know her, why did he let her into his condo? He must be the world’s worst lawyer.
