How about NO or you and what army, Judge. Or, as an alternative, no more press conferences?
—
This frigging asshole should be impeached... tomorrow.
How DARE he undercut the authority of the President to dismiss someone who’s being rude and repeatedly refusing to turn over the mike as a press conference?
What’s next - are we supposed to let those screeching feminist harpies scream until their teeny little hearts are content at Congress because, you know, it’s their “right”?
Maybe we should all gather outside the frigging asshole judge’s house and scream rude questions at HIM and refuse to be removed... it’s our “free speech” right, isn’t it?
It’s just so SAD to see this country circling the toilet - and it’s even more sad that President Trump has evidently just capitulated to this garbage “ruling” (because it’s clear, by his reaction, that he has no intention of calling off press briefings because of this). What if he has a press briefing and doesn’t call on Acosta? Does Acosta also have the “right” to ask questions? If so, doesn’t EVERY reporter for EVERY outlet? Because, you know you can’t keep ANY of the out, now, right?
Trump needs to ignore this. It’s time to take a stand on several issues if we’re going to have any lasting success.

Too late. They already gave Acosta back his pass and he’s already back at the White House.
And during his live shots the background should be trucks blocking the view of the white house. I’m sure the fire/police could stop by, with sirens set to extra loud. Of course the white house must have lawn sprinklers that require constant adjustment, not to mention the lawn must be mowed quite often. Then there’s those darn noisy helicopters. And intruder alert drills.
Trump needs to ignore this and let them appeal. Letting these comic judges assume these powers is what got us here. They do not have the powers they have assumed except by Presidents knuckling under and accepting their orders as lawful, they aren't, at least not yet.
A correct verdict for this Judicial Republic we live in now.
Why would a judge have any say over this? The President should have control over whether or not an unruly member of the press can be allowed into the daily pressing briefing or not. Mr. Acosta should not be given special, unearned privileges and asking questions and receiving answers from the President, no matter whom he is, is a privilege, not a right. Mr. Acosta can write whatever he wants, but does not have the right to be an obstruct-or which is what he was being with his rude and arrogant behavior.
Gee, I didn’t know that a Federal Judge controls access to the White House!
Give him a press pass and never, ever, call on him!
“Trump doesnt need to set himself up to be impeached by ignoring the courts. “
That’s exactly right. Ignoring the ruling is a clumsy approach. The dems will likely try to impeach Trump so Trump must not provide any unnecessary ammo to make the RINOs bolt. There are smarter ways to deal with this.
First thing to examine would be the rules of engagement for WH press briefings.
What is the established published process to follow when a reporter violates a press conference rule? Does it even exist?
Simple solution, along with telling the Judge he is a hypocritical and bewildering weakling.
IMHO, President Trump should just ignore Acosta completely and cut back on calling on other CNN reporters there.
Actions speak MUCH louder than words or law suits.
Trump should never call on Acosta for a question, because he rarely ever asks a question unless it is loaded and leads him to a “reason” to debate Trump as if he is a leader of a banana republic (Acosta not Trump) but I think he will.
I hope I’m wrong, but if not I hope Trump hires Tyrus to distribute the mic.
Exactly.
He should hire a guy in a Captain America costume and if Acosta doesn’t give up the mic, he can punch him in the nose.
If Trump backs down, cut off his Balls, and remove his spine.
Guess I am seeing this differently then many here. Judge Kennedy has served POTUS up a tremendous softball opportunity to reign in the WH Press Corps. The judge made it clear that this was not a 1A issue. He simply stated that Acosta’s right to due process was violated. What the WH will do, and has already signaled, is to devise a stringent set of rules of decorum.
Expect to see: Reporters will only speak when asking a question, if and when they are chosen, any follow-up will have to be accepted by the speaker prior to being asked, if the speaker moves to another reporter, you will quietly relinquish the mic and return to your seat, etc.
Anyone violating this decorum will have their credentials revoked and due process will no longer be an issue due to a clear set of guidelines being violated. This will effectively neuter the grand-standing taking place now.
This is why CNN is really not celebrating this, but instead reporting that the signaling from the WH in regards to a new set of decorum is “ominous”.
“Does it even exist?”
Yes, under Article II, Section 3 of the US Constitution which is enumerated, just like every other situation a reasonable judge should follow.
(Hint: The POUS is not required to give press briefings to ANYONE except information to Congress “from time-to-time”. Hence, where in the Constitution gives these media outlets “the right” to be invited to the White House or follow the President wherever he or she goes?)
I can see what you’re saying, but what due process is involved? Accosterdoesnt work for the WH. A press press is not a contract, is it? What due process is the judge hanginger his hat on?
