Exclusive — GOP Files Records Requests with LAPD for Avenatti Domestic Violence Arrest Information, Footage
The Republican National Committee (RNC) has filed a pair of records requests with law enforcement authorities in Los Angeles, California, for any and all information relating to the arrest of attorney and likely 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Michael Avenatti, including footage of Avenatti being taken into custody.
Avenatti was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony domestic violence. Upon his release on $50,000 bail, he denied any wrongdoing and claims an investigation will clear his name. But, according to TMZ–which originally broke the news–Avenatti shouted “she hit me first!” as he was being taken into custody regarding alleged acts of violence he made against a woman he kicked out of his apartment.
Avenatti is currently the attorney for Stormy Daniels also known as Stephanie Clifford, a pornographic actress who has accused President Donald Trump of paying her off to remain silent about having extramarital sexual relations with her–allegations the president denies.
Since his rise to fame as Daniels’ attorney, Avenatti has emerged as a star in the Democrat Party in large part thanks to constant publicity offered by hundreds of television appearances on outlets including CNN and MSNBC. CNN president Jeff Zucker has not replied to numerous requests for comment from Breitbart News over the past day since Avenatti’s arrest asking if he and his network denounce and disavow domestic violence, even if the woman hit Avenatti first as Avenatti allegedly claims.
The RNC’s records requests were sent to two different entities. One was sent to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the other to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The RNC’s deputy research director Scott Parker filed the requests.

I hope he hires a good lawyer, unlike the one Stormy Daniels hired.
The Democratic Quagmire: If a woman hits you and you don’t hit back, then you are saying that women are not equal to men.
This guy is one disaster after another.
- Loses Stormy case - and Stormy is ordered to pay Trump’s legal fees.
- $10 million dollar judgment against him for ex-partner or employee’s pay.
- Evicted from his office space.
- Tax assessment and liens up the wazoo.
- Anti-Kavenaugh witness being investigated for fraud.
- Wife is trying to get big divorce settlement from him. (Might have something to do why she is defending him, it’s her money too he is throwing away.)
This last scheme, getting into a slugging match with an ex-girlfriend (Really? “She hit me first”?) just tops it all.
What are his chances of being the nominee in 2020?
I with my crews responded to domestic violence calls on many occasions. So here is the reality. Many times the woman was definitely the aggressive party. But even when the man didn’t lay a finger on the woman; and even when witnesses came forward and said she was beating him and he did nothing, the man was typically still the one who was arrested and took a ride in the back of the police car.
The only exceptions were when the woman was just plain bat sh@t crazy and a danger to themselves and the kids or aggressive toward us or the police. This was basically police policy, the object was to separate the people fighting not determine who was responsible. The judges knew this and that is why most men got off if the woman had no visible injuries.
But this woman had the crap beat out of her. If Avenatti doesn’t do some time it will be strictly because of politics.
