Pompeo actually strikes me as somewhat naive. I’ve watched him. At least his behavior and watching the Norks publicly yeah mercilessly and embarrassingly jack him around and his demeanor in Pyongyang on visits there spoke to me of an unfamiliarity with Asia at a deep level and particularly vis a vis DPRK. Bolton much better suited to not take crap or be fooled, anyways this pathetic and painful to watch house of cards charade is collapsing—of thinking the Kim regime would (ever) give up nukes freely and come clean, over mere optics and niceties and photo ops in Singapore.
