I’m very sorry that happened to your family, although I’m not sure exactly what happened. Does the Democrat run government of California suck? Yes it does. Is it screwing the residents over? Yes it is. Nonetheless the post I responded to was simply fake news.
Might want to do some more homework then. I had an FFL and sold firearms in Ca and followed each and everyone of these cases as they came about for 40 years. I once went to jail just for brandishing a plastic toy pistol as someone was trying to steal my car.
He went free because my “deterrent” actually worked and he didn’t steal it. I am the one who got hit because I dared to defend my own property with a fake gun and I “scared him”. I was told that legally “I had to let him take it” and just call the cops next time (public property).
I have been to jail several times over ignorant laws like this in Ca. Luckily I went in front of the same small town conservative judge who knew my family each time. Good guy... Good sensible Judge. None of these left anymore.
