Also, here is the latest on overseas ballots:
“Of the ~20k overseas ballots that have been provided to voters but not yet received by SOEs, 41% are registered Ds, 22% are reg’d Rs, and 23% are reg’d NPAs.”
Some of the 20k outstanding are military, but a majority are not. Not all of the 20k will be returned. In fact, I’m expecting a large percentage not to be returned.
The 10-day extension exists for overseas voters but the overseas voters vote-by-mail ballot must be postmarked or dated by Election Day and received within 10 days of the election in order to be counted, provided the ballot is otherwise proper. This 10-day extension only applies in presidential preference primary elections, general elections, and special elections and special primary elections (by operation of section 100.191, F.S.)
