Full title: Jeff Flake reportedly considering 2020 Trump challenge: 'Somebody needs to run on the Republican side'
Arizona GOP Sen. Jeff Flake isnt shutting the door on a possible White House run against President Trump.
The Arizona lawmaker who announced last year that he would not be seeking re-election to the Senate told Politico Friday that he hasnt ruled it out, nor has he ruled it in.
Just, somebody needs to run on the Republican side, Flake said, adding that he thought Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., would also be good Republican alternatives to challenge Trump in 2020.
I hope somebody does [run], just to remind Republicans what it means to be conservative and what it means to be decent. Weve got to bring that back, Flake told the outlet. You can whip up the base for a cycle or two but it wears thin. Anger and resentment are not a governing philosophy.

He would do very well in open primary states because all of the dems would vote for him. Doubt that would be enough though to give him the nomination. In closed primary states he would get massacred.

I hope that sob does run. Republicans haven’t loved a president this much since Reagan. Maybe more.

Mmmmmmm....I just can't wait to see the (cough) adoring crowds that line up for Flake rallies.
Trump rally in Cape Giradeau.
Typical Trump overflow rally in NC.

Mr Pathetic Nine Percent Approval Rating is on LSD. He just lost his Senate seat because he actively mocked and criticised Trump.
Let that sanctimonious @sshole challenge Trump. Hell last about as long as Three Delegate Jeb lasted.

Maybe he just needs someone to corner him in an elevator to tell him to knock it off or else.
