This batch was expected to be good for Sinema. Most of the rest of the remaining 350,000 will be votes dropped off on Election Day and they are expected to be (but not guaranteed to be) better for McSally.

MATH @kyrstensinema won 58% of the 130,000 Maricopa ballots dropped today. These ballots were ‘early earlies’ - early ballots that arrived at recorder’s office late last week, when Dem returns were catching up to GOP.

I said “most of the rest, but that may be wrong. There are another 167,104 or so votes in this batch of votes that may be good for Sinema that have yet to be counted. Then there are about 195,000 votes in another batch that should be better for McSally and by a higher %.

One thing that gives me some hope is that Martha McSally WON a very close federal election in the House on her second attempt to be elected to congress in AZ. If I recall correctly, she won by only 168 votes in her campaign to win the seat that Gabby Giffords held at one time in Tucson AZ.

So there is history of a Republican winning a very close election here in AZ. All the close ones don’t get stolen from us here like in some states and cities. I don’t think we’ll see any blatant stuff like Republicans being barred from the vote counting rooms. If Sinema wins, it’s going to be mainly because of here huge advantage in campaign spending.
