During his time in the Marines, he was awarded numerous awards including two Navy Meritorious Unit Commendations, a Combat Action Ribbon, the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, two Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; the National Defense Service Medal and the NATO Medal-ISAF Afghanistan.
For those who may not understand all his awards are service awards, Basically he served in Afghanistan for greater then 90 days so he gets a couple of medals (well deserved because he served in a hostile fire zone) No problems for three years he gets a Good Conduct medal. National Defense is given during periods when We are in conflict. This is a good rack for a guy who did his four and left. But he is not highly decorated. He was a good Marine. Does he have PTSD, we may never know. It is just as likely he had issues before he joined the Corps. We see that a lot, you would be amazed who gets in the military.
Good post. The fruit salad means he served honorably and not much else. Will we ever know what set this former Marine off? Probably not.
Hey, they let me in.
Thanks for clarifying that. Appreciate it.
How many combat tours?
