It reminds me of Weimar Germany, when the police and the German military werent necessarily political. but then the Nazis sent out brown then blackshirts as paramilitary and overtook the political discourse and then dominated it, politicizing all their branches and leading to fraticidal and finally genocidal activities on behalf of their doctrine. history is actually repeating itself in front of our eyes, but repeating socialist history is evil each time, and ultimately destructive and banal.
