I think there may be a technicality here that you don’t know about. I’m hearing now that by statute, if a president fires or forces an AG to resign, it specifics three and only three positions in the DOJ that may succeed him (for 200+ days), and the AG Chief of Staff is not one of those 3 positions. Deputy AG (Rosenstein) is one of those 3.

So it looks like there’s going to be an issue as to whether or not an AG resigns per the request of the president is actually being forced to resign.

This ain’t gonna be pretty...

Link? Interesting...I knew Sessions wouldn’t resign voluntarily because of the problems of appointing an acting AG. Sessions remained in place because he’s an integral player in this coup.
