Evers can do a lot; it only take one or two votes to get something horrific passed sometimes.
Remember that the Republican Party HQ is in Madison. The HQ people are completely out of touch with the rest of the state, having refused to actually fight for Walker - as there might be a bad story in the newspapers which would cast them personally in a bad light and they would not get invited to the best parties. Ironically, the man who heads the party HQ was appointed by Walker.

The deep state employees certainly will be seeking payback. It won’t happen overnight, but the future of School Choice is unclear, as well as a host of other Walker reforms. I am sure the folks in Madistan are happy to finally stick it to the hicks outside of Dane County once again.
