Yes, but starting as soon as pelosi is speaker is 100 new investigations of the President and if he fires Sessions or Rosenstien they will impeach him for obstruction of justice. The appearance of obstruction will be unavoidable. Think about it. The President had the authority to fire Sessions and Rosenstein from day one but through all the turbulence he kept them on board. Then right after the democrats take the house and launch scads of new investigations THEN he fires them? The Democrats and the media would have a field day. The Dems will say the president is only firing them to avoid prosecution and the optics would be insurmountable.
Might as well face the facts we are stuck with Sessions, Rosenstein and Mueller and never ending investigations for the next two years.
