Bree :) VOTE REPUBLICAN @BreeTide
FLORIDA UPDATE:
Pinellas County:
Total turnout = 54.39%
Election Day turnout:
GOP: 31,149
DEM: 25,240
Pinellas County has +3,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans.
Next update 4pm EST
Maybe if they get some slow service at WalMart or a messed up order in the drive-thru fast food line, it’ll wreck their day enough to send them back home.
sshhh....don’t let the rats know...
Oh I hope he’s gone ... I’m up in Largo and voted by mail early. Crist is just sleazy ... and floods my mailbox with bi-weekly slick mailers. It’s a shame the way our district is drawn ... He wins practically none of the precincts north of downtown St. Petersburg.
Also, I want to wish all God-fearing patriots here a Very Happy Thanksgiving along with this exciting thread!
Yes Donnelly
Good...Two Dem candidates were talking about two Republican candidates who bought a $5 million yacht and another who bought a jet. My gosh, the Dems are jealous.. the
It’s all over twitter already. Some panic on their side re. Florida.
RAVI - please keep everyone updated - I have to go off line for a few hours
Your statement is contradictory. I am guess that you made a mistake there.
St. Lucie County, FL (Blue):
Election Day:
R: 12,249
D: 10,752
Overall:
R: 41,212
D: 46,331
Turnout % of RV:
R: 62.6%
D: 57.4%
Something’s definitely going on in Florida...
Many Republicans vote after work too
*************
Good point. I’ve done that many times.
Met him once many years ago. I believe it was at a debate for Florida Attorney General at the time. I was young and eager about the upcoming elections and was honestly a fan of his. He was nice enough, but I got a really bad vibe from him. I promised myself that night that I would never vote for him again and have kept that promise ever since.
Pasco County, FL (Red):
Election Day:
R: 27,859
D: 17,045
Overall:
R: 83,790
D: 59,808
Turnout % of RV:
R: 61.0%
D: 54.4%
Another county with the same pattern...Higher R turnout relative to D.
I worked as a Field Organizer in 2016 for the GOP in 2016.
Pinellas Co was one of my counties. I know it well.
By comparison, here are the results from 2016:
Donald J. Trump (REP) 239,201
Hillary Rodham Clinton (DEM) 233,701
So, for Pinellas to be leaning GOP this early on Election Day is a very good sign!
I have a hard time believing that folks who supported Gwen Graham would vote for Gillum. She was our Congresswoman here in FL-2 and for a Dem, she was pretty middle of the road.
If true, this might be newsworthy....tomorrow, however, as of right now the polls are still open for another 2 1/2 hours (Plus any run-off from those who arrived before 7PM EST, but are still in line).
Goes for any area in the country as well. Keep busy until the SOS trickle out the returns. Independents are deciding Florida anyway (And a lot of other races too).
54% turnout.
Extraordinary.
Anecdotal twitter reports that Bay Count voting is way down, likely due to the Hurricane.
