"I have an acquaintance here in FL who is in her late 40s, and came here in the early 90s from a communist country. She hates socialism and illegal immigration and can talk all day about the ills of both.

BUT. After the school shooting in FL, she became completely anti-gun. She was going to vote for Gillum last I heard because he opposed guns. She didn’t care about socialism, just wanted gun control. Idiot.

As an intensely political woman, I’d willingly cede my right to vote if it meant we’d have better candidates elected.

Suffrage was/is a mistake.
Also, voting ought to be limited to 30-year-olds who are more mature and perhaps even to landowners who have a vested stake in outcomes.
