“Its a matter of time before GA and FL become D.”
I can’t speak for Ga., but I can for Florida. We absorb over 300,000 people a year, mostly from the NorthEast and Ill, and we still manage to come through each election. We have had a Rep. as gov for 24 years, now another term with DeSantis. And we sent Nelson packing, now we have 2 R’s for the Senate.
There was no Blue Wave in Florida in spite of all the out of state money that poured in from Steyner and Soros, we beat a forever incumbent in Nelson and we overcame a terrible campaign by DeSantis (give President Trump a lot of credit there).
I think we do a pretty good job at it.
The problem I see is we let the Democrats own the healthcare and education issues and we don’t need to.
Good example in Florida:
Every election we hear the same thing about our state is so bad at public education, when in reality we do a great job with our kids. Reason magazine just rated Florida #3 in the nation in quality of education and #1 in bang for the buck. That’s something we never talk about and we need to stop giving the issue to Democrats.
