Yes, I thought Cruz would win by 10pts! Clearly, Cruz ran a poor campaign. After losing the Presidency, I don’t think his heart is in politics anymore.

That’s what it is: running for president ruined his temperament, and his heart was not into visiting 254 counties in TX as Beto did. Had TCruz been the presidential nominee in 2016, I am sure a federal court would have disqualified his candidacy on natural-born citizenship grounds. Of course the court would never disqualify any Democrat on those grounds.

Cruz had three major factors working against him and it's a wonder he beat them off.
1 Trump supporters who would rather watch Cruz burn, and let a Socialist win, to get revenge for the 2016 primaries.
2 The Rino establishment, who hate Cruz, as much as Trump, for standing in their way.
3 The whole Democrat/Hollywood money machine who are determined to make the fake Hispanic, O'Rourke, the next White Obama President.
