We had history against us, but the real killer was the 45 (was that the number?) retirements. I know you can’t force an officeholder to stay on if they don’t want to, and some of them were dead wood. But trying to fill 45 vacancies plus buck the historic trend, well, I’m surprised it wasn’t an even bigger bloodbath.
So far Fox reports Dems with a +3 majority. Probably go up a few in California. So many old GOP districts invaded by illegals. Orange County is getting harder and harder to hold.
That we lost three seats is amazing! Reagan lost 26 in his first term.

and most of the retirees were replaced with more trumpian leaders. 15-20 of them, were replaced with largely “more collaborative” talking dems.

Remember Gideon and the army of thousands that he reduced to 300 soldiers... and thereby wiped out the enemy. you may NOT believe those “fables” but I do... and I believe they are facts of history. We don’t need to be BIG or the Majority to win Bigly! A handful of straight shooters, with a little divine favor can do more than a fake majority of fake soldiers. Ryan and his crew of quitters... were FAKE soldiers in the MAGA army. Who needs them. We can do more with less.

In any normal midterm, we would’ve got slaughtered just like Obama, just like Bush, just like Clinton.
In the new reality, Donald Trump generated results no one else really could’ve.
