I think it might benefit Trump more to actually allow Ds to win the House by a small margin. If you allow Ds to go nuts and wage full warfare, the Rs are energized in 2020 and the Ds become all about obstruction.
If you allow the Rs to win, it becomes more about R complacency.
It’s also interesting to see Bongino talking to Papodopolous about the whole FBI/DNC attempt to frame Trump, a full one hour interview. The evidence is about to start leaking regardless of who wins.
