I asked this on twitter and will ask it here..why is it even THAT close, its KENTUCKY..Ok I know nothing about Kentucky politics but Kentucky is a freakin red state so what gives

Liberal/prog bastion Lexington surrounded by suburbs. Even in the best of times, it is hotly contested. It is not a “red” district by any stretch.

KY-6 has more registered Democrats than Republicans. So the delusional Democrats were counting on that.

Nevermind that Trump won the CD by 15 points.

Democrat wishful thinking.

Like it always is when there’s this type of shockingly close race, it’s a Dem sounding/running like a moderate/conservative. It’s what they must do to stand a chance. But should they get elected, the cover comes off to reveal who/what they truly are. Happens every time.

Presidential elections are on thing, local elections are another. Like in WV, the democrat tradition runs deep in local elections.
